Booze in the Pews is our very own exciting beer festival. The festival welcomes the community of St. Ives and the surrounding area into the church to enjoy a wide range of popular real ales, as well as offering ciders, a gin bar, bottled continental beers and an extensive homemade food menu. The festival is family friendly, caters for a full range of dietary requirements and uses eco-friendly materials wherever possible.
October 2026 Festival
We’re back from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th October 2026!
We’ll have an incredible line up of real ales, ciders, gins, bottled beer and soft drinks alongside our delicious homemade food and cakes.
Dates and times
Thursday 8 October: 17.00-23.00
Friday 9 October: 12.00-23.00
Saturday 10 October: 12.00-22.00
Entry
There is a £5 entry fee for adults. This includes your festival glass and drinks list and you pay once, but can return as many times as you like throughout the festival.

Funds and sponsorship
Funds raised during the festival support the work of the church in the wider community through ventures such as supporting local charities, running the St Ives Foodbank, and helping All Saints Church maintain the fabric of the Grade 1 listed building.
During this festival, we will be supporting the Church’s priority to enhance the amenities to facilitate serving the needs of the community better by provision of toilets, a kitchen, and enabling more flexible spaces to be available for community use.

Grants for local charities
Local charitable organisations can apply to All Saints Parish Church for a grant towards an activity or project. Grants are made available from the proceeds of our beer festivals. Grants can be in the region of £1,000, depending on the nature of the event.
Our grant making policy sets out our charitable aim of promoting in the parish of St. Ives (Cambridgeshire) the whole mission of the Church: pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.
