A baptism (or christening) is a service that welcomes a child of God into his Kingdom and for many it is the moment that they become a Christian. When you are baptised you are showing the world that you turn away from sin and are ready to follow a path to God.
You can be baptised at any age but many of us are baptised as children by our parents who want their child to follow a Christian path to God and become part of God’s family.
Baptisms usually take place on Sundays and can either be held during our 10.15 Eucharist or at 12.30.
